The 1884 information about the Four Courts and other building were from the
1884 copy of Police Guide and Directory of St. Louis by Patrolman H. M. Jones .
The Illustration was a publication of the Saint Louis Police Department .
This copy of the St. Louis Police Illustrated is part of a private collection of a
retired City of Saint Louis Police Officer .

The 1902 images of old police stations and other building were reproduced from the
1902 version of the annual St. Louis Police Illustrated
produced by the St. Louis Police Relief Association in 1902 .
This copy of the St. Louis Police Illustrated is part of a private collection of a
retired City of Saint Louis Police Officer .

The 1947 images of old police stations and other building were reproduced
from the private collection of a retired City of Saint Louis Police Officer .

The late 1950s photos of canine and equipment were reproduced
from the private collection of a retired City of Saint Louis Police Officer .

The addresses of the 1902 old police buildings and other information
was obtained from 1925 and 1939 City Saint Louis City Directories .

Other information was obtained from the Saint Louis Police Academy's Librarian .
